Junior Elementary Course - Ages 6 though 9
Advanced Elementary Course - Age 9 through 12

  1. Pre-requisites for admission:
  2. Candidates for MTI Junior and Advance Elementary Certification must hold a bachelor's degree in any field, from an accredited institution.
  3. Previous teaching experience or a background in education is not required.
  4. Personal interview with the Course Director.

Pre-Primary Course - Ages 2 1/2 through 6 years

  1. Candidates for MTI Pre-School Provisional Certification need not hold a college degree.
  2. Candidates for MTI Pre-School Certification must hold a college degree or its equivalent.
  3. Previous teaching experience or a background in education is not required.
  4. Personal interview with a course Director.

At the time of your initial personal evaluation, you will be asked to provide information regarding any previous education and / or training you have. In your interview it will be ascertained whether you qualify for a reduction or credit in the program. It is understood that the student is accepted for the entire program.

Teachers or Individuals wishing to take only Theory / Lecture Classes for the purpose of studying the relevance of Montessori to Traditional Education, is considered, by taking one class at a time and paying for each class separately.
